Young Leadership

The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties is pleased to announce the formation of a Young Leadership Division (YLD).

Mission Statement

The YLD is the arm of the Federation that reaches out to Jewish couples and singles in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.
The Division offers opportunities for volunteerism, leadership development, education, and entertainment. 
YLD is committed to strengthening the Jewish community by focusing on three central principles:

Live Jewishly. Many young Jewish adults have little opportunity to live Jewishly. Thus, the YLD plans to sponsor Jewish-themed events to enrich all of our lives spiritually and culturally.

Live Socially. Through the YLD, young adults can have fun at events, and can expand their social circles by meeting other young Jewish adults.

Live Generously.  A central concept of Judaism is Tzedakah -- helping others, especially those in need.
Thus, YLD provides opportunities for community service and encourages young adults to live as generously
as they can.
