Our Mission
The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is the umbrella organization of the area's Jewish community, bringing together agencies, organizations and communities to support and fulfill the needs of the Jewish people.

The Federation raises funds to coordinate services, and help support agencies that touch the lives of Jews in Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties, in Israel, and throughout the world.

What We Do
The Federation acts as the umbrella organization of the Jewish community in local, national and overseas Jewish affairs. It provides a forum for Jewish organizations, bringing them together to coordinate capabilities and maximize service to the Jewish community at-large.

The Federation conducts an annual campaign and allocates the contributions to improve the quality of life for Jewish people locally, in Israel and in 60 countries throughout the world.

The Federation funds student and teacher scholarships for Jewish-content educational programming and helps to subsidize adult missions to Israel to provide an in-depth view of the Jewish state, with an emphasis on social service needs in our partnership 2000 communities, Arad and Tamar.

The Jewish Federation's international beneficiaries include United Jewish Communities, which works with Federations around North America to fund the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Joint Distribution Committee to assist people in need in Israel and in 60 countries around the world.
Many other groups benefit in countless ways from the involvement of our Federation.

The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties extends a welcoming hand to every member of the community. It provides information and referrals for a whole host of human needs, including relocation assistance, vocational issues, homelessness, nursing home placement, disability services, counseling and many others.
