Your Federation Dollars at Work – How Your Support Helps

The Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign is a fundraising effort conducted in concert with 155 Federations across North America.  The annual campaign is the most trusted, most envied fundraising vehicle in the world.  Every year, the $850+ million campaign literally turns the lights on for the world’s 13 million Jews; providing the basic infrastructure in which members of our community get help and give it.

Each year, the Jewish Federation Annual Campaign pumps much-needed dollars into Jewish Family Service, the Jewish Community Center, the Holocaust and Genocide program, Rutgers Hillel, health and social service agencies in Israel, the Former Soviet Union, and in so many other places of high risk to our people.  The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties works in conjunction with the entire Federation system to raise funds in order to effectively and efficiently provide essential programs and services for those most in need.  Giving to the Annual Campaign enables our Federation system to continue our important work:

Locally:

  • $18 buys 3 days of meals for an unemployed adult in the tri-county area
  • $72 buys 1 month of hot meals at a local community kitchen
$360 buys a Hillel Shabbat dinner for 40 students
